He was predeceased by: his mother Jewell K. Everett; his siblings, Bill Rector, Richard Rector and Judy K. Pierce; and his children, Tommy Waters and Samantha Bates.
He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Rector (Brenda); his daughter Deanna Ashe; his grandchildren, Serenity Waters and Christian Goforth; and his great grandchild Greyson Goforth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lebanon Cemetery (633 Lebanon Valley Church Road SW, Cleveland, TN 37323).
