He is survived by: his wife Margie Pendergrass Blackwell; his sons, Jerry Blackwell (Robin) and Terry Blackwell (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Blackwell (Jennifer), Josh Blackwell, Jason Blackwell (Amy), Tara Kimsey (Jason), Sydney Cheatham (Chunk) and Haley Wilson-Goss (Destiny).
In lieu of flowers, Leroy would have appreciated any donations going toward the Smoky Mountains that he loved so dearly.
