He is survived by: his wife Jobetta Dykes; his daughter Lynn Wilson; his stepson John Aaron Solomon; his siblings, Denise King, Frances Crowe, Betty Maddox Tharpe, Gilbert King, Thomas Michael Soles and Roy Gene Maddox; his granddaughters, Machala Dykes, Leih Dykes, Megan Friday and Mindy Wilson; his great grandchild Isla Friday; his aunt Debby Dolezar; and his cousin Lynn Richardson Syfan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Victory Faith Church (1253 SE King Edward Ave, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
