He is survived by: his children, Julie Persson (David), Nick and Cathy (David Calovich); and his stepdaughters, Melanie Buscher (Rod), Lenora Saladar (Dennis) and Maude Franceschina (Mark). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Wounded Warriors Project and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
