Janet Pack wrote a sympathy message

“I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Wayne. I have known him many years having attended church with them at Decherd and some at Winchester. Mr. Wayne and Mrs. Billie were the most encouraging and loving folks, always a kind word and smile. Mr. Wayne loved to pick at my three grandsons and they always loved to see him at church. We talked about playing bass and music as I also played music and an old standup bass myself. Sweet man and always had a big smile. He will be missed.”
