He was predeceased by: his father J. D. James; his son Anthony James; and his stepfather Leonard Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Rolydia Woody James; his son Charlie James (Najha); his granddaughters, Aria of Cleveland, TN and Persephone James of Cleveland, TN; his mother Audrey Franklin of Florida; his brothers, Mike James of Venice, FL and Paul James (Kim) of Flowering Branch, GA; and his sister-in-law Darlene Woody of Bradley County, TN. He is also survived by 3 nephews and 5 nieces; many great-nephews and great-nieces, and a host of extended family members and friends.
