We are sad to announce that, on November 16, 2022, at the age of 76, Peter Kent Emerson (Cleveland, Tennessee), born in Farmington, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Emerson and Beryl Emerson; his wife Carolyn; his children, Elizabeth Selvage (Bruce) and Brad Emerson (Carol); his grandchildren, Bruce Selvage III, Tasia Selvage, Lucas Selvage and Peter Kent Emerson II; and his sister Linda Shea. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Peter was proud of his contributions to super absorbent cellulose fibers and the development of quality diapers with gathers and reusable tape, known as Pampers.
