He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Anderson Dixon; and his brother-in-law Ricky Shourd. He is survived by: his children, Jane McNelly (Ivan), David Dixon (Patricia) and Gary Dixon (Angelia); his grandchildren, Adam Dixon, Bradley Dixon, Cassandra Bowman, Derrick Dixon, Caitlin Forsythe (Brandon) and Ethan McNelly; his great grandchildren, Alex Elder and Layla Elder; his mother Ada Bess Howard Dixon; and his siblings, Loretta Jones (Alan), Sandra Shourd and Alan Dixon (Kelley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
