He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Raymond Sherlin and Thelma Jean Sherlin (Ross); and his grandparents, Robert, Maude Sherlin, Aubie and Mary Ross.

He is survived by : his wife Tammy Sherlin; his daughters, Tiffani Sherlin (Nolan Pelfrey) and Courtney Conway (Sean); his stepson Trently Letner; his grandchildren, Sarah-Grace Letner and Trenton Jake Letner; and his siblings, Judi Williams (Denny), David (Marilyn) and Donnie Sherlin (Toika). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Church of God (3522 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
