He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Masingale and Allie Masingale; his wife Wanda Masingale; his children, Kandi Edwards (Scott Grady) and Willie Edwards; and his siblings, Johnnie, Leona, Shirley, Fleta, Jewell, Juanita, Wayne, Dillard, Cecil and Gene.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amber Edwards (Nick Oswalt) and Derek Grady "Big Boy" (Gracie King); his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Scott, Jaylee Scott and Morgan Oswalt; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Smith (Julie) and Jeri Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
