He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Wilson Thurman and Wesley Thurman; and his brothers, Wesley Ernest Thurman, Roy Lee Thurman, Steve Thurman and Tim Thurman.
He is survived by: his wife Carolynn M. Thurman (Cleveland); his children, AnnaBella Thurman, Sonia Thurman, Rose Thurman, Gabe Thurman, Rebecca Flory (Paul), Christopher D. Thurman (Amanda Hall) and Christina Palmer; his grandchildren, Chase Thurman, Cyle Thurman, Benjamin Thurman, Jessica Youngberg and Hailey Flory; his great grandchildren, Colton A. Lamb and Kimber Thurman; his siblings, Barbara Joyce Kyle (Jerry Gable), R. J. "Jake" Thurman (Mildred), Sandra Parker (Bill) and Ricky Thurman (Gail); and his sister-in-law Rose Mary Thurman. He is also survived by dog.
