He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Green and Lillie Chastain Green; his significant other Kay Owens Green; his sister Shirley Crumley; his parents-in-law, George and Luwana Owens; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Lumley, Johnny Owens and Cecilia Murray.

He is survived by: his daughter Tonya Green (Shane Key) of Harrison, TN; his grandson Riley Cheek (Julianne Clina) of Starkville, MS; his sister Rosetta Lumley of Cleveland; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Crumley of Cleveland, Gilbert Owens of Chattanooga and Becky Calhoun of Benton. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
