He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Chancey and Mary Chancey; and his brothers, William T. Chancey, Melvin Leroy Chancey and Alan Chancey.
He is survived by: his wife Judeth Chancey; his children, Perry Chancey (Valerie), Anthony Romaella (Carlene), Brenda Kimbrough (Corey), Mark Romaella (Katrina) and Jacob Chancey (Charity); his sister Linda Lassiter (Melvin); and his grandchildren, Amber Chancey, Deanna Chancey, Ronald Chancey III, Ashley Galvez (Javier), Tabatha Vander Weel (Jared), Andrea Southern (Jason), Alicia Wright (David), Joshua Gates (Cindy), Brandi Love (Adam), Clifton Romaella (Rosalie), Johnathan Woss, Katherine Hammontree (Harrison), Christian Campbell, Dylan Chancey (Kelsie), Tiffany Pratt (Chris), Tailor Evans (Bo), Alyssa Akins (Dakota) and Cara Chancey (Jacob). He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, & several nieces and nephews.
