She was predeceased by: her husband Hoyt Ownby; her parents, Dewey Epperson and Ethel Epperson; her son-in-law Dennis Boring; and her sisters, Wanoka McClure Sullivan and Virginia McClure.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Bryant (Chip), Shirley Maynard (Jim) of Cleveland and Margaret Boring of Chattanooga; and her friend Grady Dunn. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces & nephews.
