He is survived by: his wife Joyce White Tinsley; his children, Kevin Tinsley (Casey) and Kimberly Hooker (Scotty); his sister Jane Verner (Leroy); his grandchildren, Kaleb Tinsley, Conner Tinsley (Madyson), Koby Hooker (Taylor), Brett Hooker (Kayla), Jonathan Grider (Morgan) and Haven Grider; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry White and Jimmy White. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
