He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hicks, Sr. and Violet Gilliam Hicks; his brother Claude Hicks, Jr. (Bubby); and his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Stacey Wilson (Ronnie), Scott Hicks and Andrew Hicks (Sheri); his grandchildren, Scarlett Thomison (Ezekiel), Spencer Wilson and Morgan Vibbert (Aaron); and his sibling's children, Misty Pettit (Gary) and Randy Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
