She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Howell; and her son Christopher Lynn Mathews. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Lee Mathews; her daughter Malessa Dawne Frank (Mathews); her son-in-law Randall Ray Frank; her sisters, Mary Ann Gorbett Near (Lanny) and Judy Rebecca Howard England; her siblings' children, Marty Near, Jeri Near Botts, Molly Near, John Thomas England and Tara England; her uncle Harold Frazier; and her brothers, Lawrence Mathews, Jack (Jimmie Chase) and Gary (Sue Kimsey).
