She was predeceased by: her father Steven A. "Toby" McKenzie Sr.; her grandparents, John Bryson Sr., Eula Bryson, Bob McKenzie and Gail McKenzie; her uncles, Jack Bryson and Kenneth Bryson; her cousin Dixie Freeman; and her father-in-law Bobby Joe McGill Sr..
She is survived by: her mother Gayla Bryson Hurst; her husband Bobby "Jody" McGill Jr.; her siblings, Jami Spencer (Larry), Steve A. McKenzie Jr. (Beth) and Ashley McKenzie; her stepparents, Brenda and Stan Lawson; her parents-in-law, Faye and Clayton Lockhart; her brother-in-law Ryan McGill; her nieces and nephews, Jake Spencer, Lila Jo Spencer, Tripp McKenzie, Luke McKenzie, Taylor Ann McGill and Matthew McGill; her aunt Carolyn Skinner; her close friend Susie Hall; and her cousins, Carmen Reagan and Ken Wilson. She is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Empty Stocking Fund (P.O. Box 2370 Cleveland, TN 37320) or to the SPCA of Bradley County (1570 Johnson Blvd. SE Cleveland, TN 37311) in Shasta's name.
