With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Hicks of Cleveland, Tennessee, born in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Bunch Crisp and Arlind Crisp; her husband Reverend James Hicks; her sister Dessie Howard (David); and her brother-in-law Bearl Burger.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Hicks and Bryan Hicks of Cleveland; and her siblings, Arlene Burger (Cleveland), David Crisp (Brenda), Dan Crisp (Kathy) and Brent Crisp (Maryellen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
