He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dempsey Wampler Sr. and Barbara Wilson Wampler; his stepfather Gene Tunney Wampler Sr.; and his sister Kathy Diane Wampler Hixson. He is survived by: his children, Josh Wampler (Kelly), Brent Wampler, Carla Wampler and Mason Wampler; his grandchildren, Joy (Maverick), Massengale and Loralye Wooden; his brother-in-law William Bill Hixson; and his siblings, Jack Demsey Wampler Jr. and Christi Flory (Matt). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
