She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Thomas Franks and Melvina Pardue; her husband Harlan Smith; her children-in-law, Sherian Smith and Steve Roberson; and her siblings, Dennis Franks, Zetta Ownby and Inez Franks.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Smith, Bebo Smith, Mary Ann Roberson and Betsy Pritchett (Miles); her sisters-in-law, Dot Franks and Dotsy Keller; and her grandchildren, Daniel Smith, Leah Davis (Scott), Micha Crumley (Adam Cash), Neal Roberson (Casie), Lindsay Doss (Josh), Ryan Roberson, Danielle Sims (David) and Angie Logan (Tom). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
