He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bouman; his daughter Heidi Elmer (Rick); his grandchildren, Zachary Jones (Charlotte), Curtis Jones, Chris Elmer (Emily) and Lindsey Jones; his great grandchildren, Harper, Rose Jones and James Elmer; his brother-in-law Josef Schmidt; his goddaughters, Cindy Brown, Heather March-Nicolla and Sabrina Laphem; and his close friend Jim Lowe (Teresa McDaniels).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, MI 48855). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
