He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Rutledge and Irene Rutledge; his wife Betty Rutledge; and his siblings, June Swafford, Joyce Todd, Betsy Burnette, Brenda Williams, Barbara Ellis and Danny Rutledge.
He is survived by: his son Keith Rutledge (Crystal); his grandchild Whitney Brewer (Blake); and his great grandchild Hayden Thompson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland Chapel (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
