He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph T. McCoy and Dorothy Renner McCoy; his sister Mildred Hale of Savannah, Georgia.; his wife Mary Ellen Still McCoy; his children, William R. "Bob" McCoy II, Kathy Davis (Danny), Susan Davidson (Bill) and Timothy of Lucerne, Switzerland.; his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Jessi) of Paris, Turner McCoy Davidson, Parker Vasco Davidson of Flint and Kelsey Kinslow (Jeremy) of Smith's Grove, Kentucky.; and his great grandchildren, Mccoy Kinslow, Lila Grace and Ada Belle Smith. He was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
