She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Darnell; her parents, Milton Smith and Thelma Smith; her granddaughter Meghan Kovach; and her sister Gladys Duvall.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Darnell and Jana Darnell; her sister Linda Sue Buckles (Steve); her grandson Sean Darnell; her great grandchild Henry Kovach; her close friends, Katrina, Ella, Stacey and Shannon; Matt Kovach. She is also survived by many other extended family members and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Christian Service Center of First Baptist Church, Clinton.
