It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Sue Phillips of Clinton, Tennessee, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bobbie Sue Phillips to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Early Phillips; her parents, Herman Reed Butler Sr. and Clarice Butler; and her brothers, Herman Butler Jr., Arnold Butler and Tim Butler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Cox (Robert Darnell) and Connie Phillips; her sister Sara Johnson; her grandchildren, Craig Cox (Leah), Susan Vaughn (Eric) and Mollie Insell; and her great grandchildren, Easton Cox, Levi Vaughn and Oliver Vaughn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodhaven Memorial Garden (160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849).
