He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Mounger and Snowa Flake Ellis Mounger; his wife Mary Helen; and his grandson Jerry Charles "Chuck" Mounger. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Frank (Jane), Gary Brent (Becky), Dale Steven Mounger and Rhonda Kay Allender (Gary); his grandchildren, Melanie Mounger, Andy Mounger (Bethany), Jake Mounger (Nicole), Gary Mounger, Brock Allender (Dana) and Jill Scobey (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Gibson, Kinley, Gabriel, Gwendolyn Mounger, Aubrey, Boone, Isla, Briggs Allender and Diana Scobey.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
