He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Yarnell; his sister Mary Ann Bullock; his son Chris Yarnell; and his grandchildren, Lilly and Logan Yarnell.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the church he belonged to, South Clinton Baptist Church, or the Clinton High School Future Farmers of America Club (Charles was a former FFA President).
