She was predeceased by: her father Richard Tate. She is survived by: her mother Hilda Rhea Cox (Turley); her daughter Janie Bigger; her siblings, Tina Chavez and Richard Cox; her stepsister Regina; and her siblings' children, Diana Lowery, Korrin Cox, Kristin Cox and Todd Cox (Paula).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home (613 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in Dana's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the ASPCA since Dana had such a love for animals.
