He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Harshbarger (Don) and Eva Harshbarger (Kirby); and his siblings, Everette, Arthur (Bud), Helen Marguerite, Marjory and Jean.

He is survived by : his wife Nellie Harshbarger (Sizemore); his children, Cyndie Foster (Jeff) of Norris, James of Crossville and Jeffrey (Jenny) of Norris; and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Eddie Dean.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norris United Methodist Church (16 Ridgeway Rd, Norris, TN 37828). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dean's honor to: Norris Lions Club 75th Anniversary, Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County, or the Norris Area Food Bank.
