She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey and Hassie Partin Evans; her husband Benjamin F. McNew Sr.; and her son Benjamin F. McNew Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Regina McNew (Charles Richardson) and Debbie; her children-in-law, Chuck Fritts and Sue McNew; her grandchildren, Heather Ward (Jon), Channon Winchester (Carolyn), Matthew Peter-Fritts (Donny), Leah Simmons (Bryan), Rachel Mayes (Tyler), Austin McNew (Summer), Benjamin J. McNew (Hallie) and Anthony Collins, Jr. (Brooke Hall); her great grandchildren, Kileigh Houston, Evan Ward, Drew Winchester, Xavier Peter-Fritts, Diana Peter-Fritts, Brooklyn Simmons, Brysen Simmons, Riley Lansdon, Kate Lansdon, Ava Lansdon, Paxton Simmons, Kennedy Mayes, Jack Mayes, Elijah McNew, Winter Brooks, Autumn Brooks, Caroline McNew and Benjamin G. McNew; and her brother Everette Evans (Joan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
