She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lindsay and Bertha Isabell Lindsay; her husband Marshall Thomas McCartt; her siblings, Bedford Lindsay, Vernon Lindsay, Raymond Lindsay, Herbert Isabell, Ruby Warwick and Bessie Harmon; her daughter Mary Susan Starnes; her son-in-law Mike Kallai; and her grandsons, Michael Kallai Jr. and Scotty McCartt.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Kallai, Kathy Hemphill (Roy) and Tom McCartt (Joni); her sister-in-law Ernestine Lindsay (Raymond) of Alabama; her grandchildren, Joseph Kallai (Justine) of Ohio, Zakery Kallai (Leslie Becker) of Ohio, Jason Starnes of South Carolina, Matthew Starnes of South Carolina, Vanessa Williams (Patrick) of Ohio, Kristin McCartt of Clinton, Alyssa Thompson (Craig) of Knoxville and Amy Starnes of South Carolina; her son-in-law William Starnes; and her nephews, Joe Lindsay, Tommy Bullock and David McCartt.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sam Foust Cemetery.
