He is survived by: his children, Roger Long, Sherri Fowler (Jeff Fowler) and Mark Long (Shauna Stevenson); his grandchildren, Amanda Fox (Shawn Fox), Cameron Moore and Brendan Fowler; his great grandchild Eleanor Fox; and his close friend Alvin Jones.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Grandview Memorial Garden (219 Longmire Rd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Poplar Creek Baptist Church (490 Marlow Cir, Clinton, TN 37716).
