Ira Wayne Burnett Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ira Wayne Burnett of Clinton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Chandler Burnett and Bobbie Robert Burnett; his siblings, Rita Phillips and Robert Dale Burnett; and his grandparents, Dora Mae Chandler and Ira Londus Chandler.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Burnett; his son Christopher Burnett (Rebecca); his stepsons, Joshua Bardill (Carrie) and Jacob Bardill (Raven); his sister Dora Burnett Toia; his grandchildren, Isaac Burnett, Hannah Burnett, Callum Duggan, Lillith Bardill and Emma Bardill; his stepmother Margret Burnett; and his sisters-in-law, Sheila Johnson (Richard), Pamela Childress and Robin Hock (Donnie). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
