He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Burnette and Minnie Burnette (Cloia Burnette); and his son Jerry Burnette. He is survived by: his children, Mark Burnette (Stacey) of Clinton, TN., Charlotte Kittrell (Mickey) of Kingston, TN and Melissa Delisle (Leo) of Pensacola, FL..
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Mortuary (375 N Main St, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
