She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Mashburn and Ozell Easterwood Mashburn; her siblings, Arnold, Arthur, Noel, James, Junior and Lula Mae Brickman; and her son Charles "Eddie" Pettiford.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Ogg; her grandson Lance Pettiford; and her great grandchildren, Henry Pettiford and Sawyer Pettiford. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren from her grandchild, her daughter, and many friends.
