She is survived by: her husband Walter Ellis Porter; her children, Carol Porter Childress (Milt) of Charlotte, NC, Walter Ellis Porter, Jr. (Tracie) of Franklin, TN and Mary Kate Porter Wilson (Tom) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Alex Childress Slabaugh (Drew) of Charlotte, Gracie Childress Lobao (Vitor) of Miami, FL, John Childress (Tori) of Charlotte, John Porter (Katrina) of Minneapolis, MN, Alan Porter (Cecilia) of Nashville, Polly Wilson Lisle (Grant) of Greenville, Helen Wilson of Charlotte and Cleve Wilson of Nashville; and her great grandchildren, Mary Jane Lisle, Alexander Porter, Eleanor Porter, Jack Childress and Margot Lisle.
