He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Evans; his parents, Leland Evans and Lois Evans; his brothers, Clifford, Bill, Bob, Donald and Larry Evans; and his sons-in-law, Eddie Purkey Jr. and Randy Byrd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Francis Byrd (Bryan McDowell) and Rebecca Lynn Brown (Greg Brown); his grandchildren, Lori Staudenmaier (Brian), Myra Furhman (Jordan) and Kenneth Harrell (Clara); his great grandchildren, Aidan, Alaina Staudenmaier, Mariella and Reece Harrell; and his brothers, Hugh Von, Tommy, Jim and Ronald Evans.
