He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Childress and Irene Childress; his wife Patricia Childress; and his brothers, Jack, David and Jimmy Childress.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Childress Jr., Michael Childress, Adam Childress (Brittany), Michelle Goodman (Roger) and Eddie Childress (Kayla); his grandchildren, Trey, Colbie Childress, Daniel, Harper and Bailee Childress; and his close friend Brenda Kuziak. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones Mortuary (375 N Main St, Clinton, TN 37716). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
