She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gaylor and Bessie Ballard (McCulley); her husband Elmer Day; her sister Opal Green; and her son-in-law Donnie Woods.
She is survived by: her caregiver Shirley Woods of Clinton; and her sons, Herschel Day (Kaffey) of Knoxville and Jerry Day (Linda Day) of Rocky Top. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren' and a host of other relatives and friends.
