She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine Franklin "Frank" Johnson and Tommie Gail Johnson of Halls Crossroads, Tennessee.. She is survived by: her husband Gregory McBroom; her children, Chesney McBroom, Patrick Parten (Jimmie) and Christy Robin; her grandchildren, Parker Parten and Kai Robin; her sisters, Cindy Taliaferro (Bob) and Stacey Jenkins (Fred); and her caregiver Justin Bradshaw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
