He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Jean Adkins; his parents, Robert "Bob" Adkins and Martha Adkins (Disney); his children, Brenda Lowe, Wilma Ford and Larry Adkins; his sons-in-law, Richard Moore, George Rutherford and Johnny Cox; his grandson Michael Ford; his great grandchild Kylie Grace Ford; and his siblings, Aline Adkins, Edna Adkins, Evelyn Sterner, Buster, Edgar and Sherman Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Gladys Lasko (John), Mildred Rutherford, Carolyn Cox and Paul Adkins; and his children-in-law, Gary Lowe, Robert Ford and Beverly Adkins. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
