He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parker Scarbrough and Beulah Rachel Walls Scarbrough; and his brother Carl. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Lee Scarbrough; his children, Dennis Scarbrough and Diane Beckler; his son-in-law Donnie Beckler; his grandchildren, Adam Scarbrough (Anna Scarbrough), Nick Scarbrough (Clara Scarbrough), Josh Beckler, Julie Beckler (Jason Carnes) and Jenna Beckler; and his great grandchildren, Seth Scarbrough, Jack Carnes and Henry Walter-Morris Scarbrough.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the New York Avenue Church of Christ (219 New York Ave, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
