With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William D Bratcher Sr. of Clinton, Tennessee, who passed away on May 23, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his sons, William David Bratcher (Kelly Kilgore Bratcher) of Knoxville and Thomas Wayne Bratcher (Michelle Parker); his granddaughter Gabby Bratcher; and his siblings, Wayne Bratcher (Goob) and Shirley Henegar. He is also survived by many extended family members, lifelong friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Clear Branch Baptist Church.
