He is survived by: his children, Greg Petty (Cynthia) of Clinton, TN, James Petty (Kelly) of Aiken, SC, Cheryl Tilton (Rick) of Lenoir, NC and Diane Miller (Anthony) of Oak Ridge, TN; his sister Wilma Harris of Dickson, TN; his niece Lisa Carrington; and his nephew Kenny Petty. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
