We bid farewell to Darwin Davis of Coalfield, Tennessee, born in Harriman, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Darwin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis (Lige) and Ruby Newcomb Davis; his parents-in-law, Bobbie Davis and Calvin Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Jackson and Benny Skiles.
He is survived by: his wife Doralene Skiles Davis; his children, Dennis Davis (Holly) and Deidre Holt (Joel); his grandchildren, Cameron Holt and Emily Davis; his sister Glenda Fritts; his brother-in-law Tom Fritts; his close friends, Curt and Millie Skiles; and his siblings-in-law, Shelby Skiles and Jackie Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, close family members and friends.
Darwin was inducted into the Oliver Springs High School Hall of Fame for his contributions to the school and athletic department.
