He is survived by: his wife Mary Woerly Ray of College Grove, TN; his children, Sandra Cavanaugh (Steve) of Kirkwood, IL, Paula Mettler (Fred) of Murfreesboro, TN, Kathy Stewart of Murfreesboro, TN, Steve Ray (Krissy) of Chapel Hill, TN and Michael Ray of Chapel Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Megan, James, Patrick, Matthew, Jared, Justine, Jevanie, Brandon, Susan, Ryan, Lindsay and Alysa Ray; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Cayden, Caroline, Charley Kate, Kinsley, Isabelle, Tom, Benjamin of Zayne, SJ and Mary Kate; and his sister Mary Frances Damewood of Ohio.
