He is survived by: his wife Linda Sargent of College Grove, TN; his children, Tracy Bruen (Garry) of Oakland, TN, Donovan Sargent (Becky) of College Grove, TN and William Sargent, Jr. of College Grove, TN; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn Bruen, Lucy Bruen and Liam Bruen.
