He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie E. Ratcliff and Arthur L. Dalton; his sister June Dalton Hyde; and his half-sister Geraldine Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Charleston "Charlie Mayfield" Dalton; his daughter Pamela L. Dalton of Chattanooga, TN; his sister Amelia McCelland (Joseph); his nieces, Robbie Hyde Callahan, Mandi Pavich and Cyndi Lindholm; and his nephew Timothy McClelland.
