He was predeceased by : his wife Phyllis; his son Michael; and his siblings, Elizabeth, C. W. and Jerry.

He is survived by : his children, Joel Berry (Cheri) of Roswell, GA, Renita Berry of Oakland, TN and Cynthia Pedigo of Arlington, TN; his daughter-in-law Susan Berry (late Michael); his grandchildren, Stephanie Pedigo of Arlington, TN, Austin Berry (Julie) and Tyler Berry (Aimee) of Atlanta, GA.; and his brothers, Thomas, Eugene and Paul.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Forest Hill East Cemetery (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
